About
The Irish Communist Organisation was a precursor to the British and Irish Communist Organisation established in the late 1960s. Essentially a Marxist-Leninist group influenced by Maoism. Unlike its successor the ICO can be regarded as more orthodox in its view of partition, at least until the latter part of its existence.
