About
The 1% Network was a coalition of socialist groups formed in 2010 in opposition to the austerity response to the then-recent economic crisis and to promote a socialist alternative. Its name sought to highlight the proportion of wealth held by the richest 1% of the population.
Organisations involved included Éirígí, Irish Socialist Network, Seomra Spraoí, and the Workers Solidarity Movement.
It appears to have petered out in 2011.
