About
Rabharta is an eco-socialist party founded in 2021. It was formed by former Green Party members who left that party over its role in coalition government with Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael, including two former Green Party local councillors.
Initially called An Rabharta Glas - Green Left (An Rabharta Glas translates as ‘the Green Wave’ or ‘the Green Tide’ in English), the party became Rabharta in 2023.
