About
The Sligo/Leitrim Independent Socialist Organisation was established in 1974 and led by Declan Bree. He was elected to Sligo County Council. In 1991 the SLISO merged with the Labour Party and the following year Bree was elected as an LP TD. In 2007 he resigned from the LP.
