International Socialist Alternative (ISA) is a Trotskyist international formed in 2019.
ISA was formed after divisions in the Committee for a Workers International (CWI) led to a split. The International Secretariat ‘refounded’ the CWI with a minority of international affiliates. Affiliates opposed to the ‘refounding’ aligned initially as the ‘CWI - Majority’, and adopted the International Socialist Alternative name in February 2020.
