The Workers' Party [Starry Plough]

The Workers’ Party is an Irish republican, Marxist–Leninist communist party active in both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Note that the Workers’ Party name has been contested since a 2021 split in the party. This entry represents The Workers’ Party whose Party President is Michael McCorry and who use the Starry Plough logo.

Since 2025, it is called the Republican Clubs in Northern Ireland (a name arising from the ban on Sinn Féin in the North in the 1960s and carried on by the WP after the 1969/70 split).
